The following schedule is an optional list of activities. All are free to participate in all, some or none of the events below.
Monday, October 4- Early arrivals begin parking after 2 PM. Group dinner at 5:30 at a nearby restaurant.
Tuesday, October 5- 9 AM visit to Roots Country Market in Lancaster. Noon departure for a tour of the Yuengling Brewery in Pottsville, PA. Dinner at the Hollywood Casino in Grantville, PA. Return back to camp around 8 PM.
Wednesday, October 6- Car Corral and flea market opens at 7 AM. Day is open and the only planned event is a Wine and Cheese reception at the camp around 6 PM. This is probably one of the better days to try out the car show and get the "lay of the land"
Thursday, October 7th- NYC Bagels for Breakfast around 9 AM. Tour of the Hershey Story Museum around 10:30, Lunch in downtown Hershey or back at camp. Tour of the PA Capitol Building in the afternoon. Dinner at Fire Alley restaurant in Hershey. Campfire evening.
Friday, October 8th- Spa Day for the Ladies (reservations needed by Sept 10). Guided historic trolley tour of Hershey in the afteroon. Car Show vist for the guys all day. Dinner with John Heckman's special Chili at 6 PM (bring a dessert to share). Campfire in the evening.
Saturday, October 9th- Visit to Lititz and the Wilbur Chocolate Company in Lancaster County. Shopping in Lititz. For those interested, we could also do an afternoon excursion to the Strasburg Railroad Museum. 6 PM community potluck dinner back in Hershey featuring smoked BBQ and covered dishes. Campfire in evening.
Sunday, October 10th- Easy, free morning with off-site church service at 11:00 AM (optional, of course). Coach tours and/or troubleshooting in the afternoon. Heavy appetizers and drinks around 6 PM.
Monday, October 11th- Columbus Day- Coaches depart by 5 PM. No scheduled events other than wrapping up coach projects and visiting other venues in the area that may have been missed.
